Paso Nogal (Dog) Park

Off-Leash Dog Exercise Area Rules:

Location and Features:

  • The park spans approximately 63 acres and offers a variety of amenities.
  • It includes a fenced-in dog exercise area covering 2.5 acres, where dogs can play off-leash.
  • There are also small picnic areas for visitors to enjoy.
  • The park boasts scenic hiking trails that wind through the natural beauty of the area.


  • Eight entrances provide easy access to the park, including the main entrance on Paso Nogal Road and additional entrances on Kiki Road, Boies Drive, Gail Drive, Odin Drive, Morello Avenue, and Paso Nogal Court1.


Dog Leash Policy:

  • Dogs must be on a leash at all times when outside of the fenced-in off-leash dog park area.
  • This policy applies even on the open space hiking trails within the park.
  • Respect other trail users who may or may not appreciate a friendly (or not-so-friendly) greeting from your canine companion.


Off-Leash Dog Exercise Area Rules:

  • Dogs must be at least 6 months old, up to date with current vaccinations, and free of contagious conditions.
  • Display current registration tags on their collar.
  • Owners/handlers are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs (doggie bags are provided through membership donations).
  • Carry a leash for each dog.
  • Prevent dogs from digging to avoid damaging the turf and creating hazards.
  • Dogs in heat are not allowed.
  • Limit the number of dogs per owner/handler to no more than 4.
  • The park has two fenced-in off-leash exercise areas: one for dogs under 25 lbs and another for larger dogs.
  • Rainy Day Notice: The dog park closes due to wet/muddy conditions and remains closed for approximately 3 days to allow the areas to dry out.


Mission of PHDog.org

  • We are a collection of dog owners who aims to provide a safe and fun environment for dogs to play and socialize at Paso Nogal Dog Park. We also support projects to enhance and improve the dog and dog owner experience.
